Blog Hop Winner and other Shenanigans

Congratulations to Jo Good, the winner of the Blog Hop. She entered via signing up for my Newsletter, and I hope she enjoys her prize.  I had a great time with the contest, and hopefully some of you are reading this because you became interested in my stories due to the contest. I also hope that some of my regular fans found something to love from the other authors, too. That’s why we ran it, after all! So, what’s next?

Well, in the worryingly near future, I’ve got NaNoWriMo to do battle with. I’ve been really having a hard time shoehorning regular periods of writing into my day, what with a few real life concerns and a few screwy goings on at my day job, but gosh darn it I made it through last year’s NaNoWriMo and I mean to do it again this year. Right now I have a “first day of school” level of giddy excitement mixed with burning dread when it comes to NaNoWriMo. Some story and character kernels are really getting me excited, and there are a few that I’m not sure I’m quite good enough to pull off. Time will tell.

I think I’ve got two little secret projects simmering away, one of which I finally managed to make some real headway on just a few days ago. When I finish this post I’ll be getting back to it. The other will be revealed reasonably soon, but that’s out of my hands.

The good news is, with any luck my next update will show off a finished Lain figurine! Until next time, thanks for reading.

Mr. Lallo, I just finished reading Bypass Gemini. I got the book as a free download and have to tell you i now feel guilty for having done so. The book was very well written and a awesome story. The action was great and non-stop. I look forward yo reading more of your stories as I am a big Sci-Fi addict. Good job and keep typing.

    Yours,
    John Howard( Hempstead, Texas)

Hi John. I’m glad you enjoyed Bypass Gemini. No reason to feel guilty for enjoying it for free. I always try to make my series starters free, once I can afford it, so that readers can sample my stuff without risking hard earned dollars. If you haven’t already, the next one to read would be Unstable Prototypes, and I’m working on another for next year. Thanks for reading!
